Jungle Trails and Bunny Tails

How many Easter eggs does the Sarasota Jungle Gardens Easter Bunny leave for his littlest friends? Can you count to 45,000?! The busiest Easter Bunny in Sarasota will be awaiting all of his friends at Sarasota Jungle Gardens' annual "Jungle Trails and Bunny Tails" event. He has been very busy filling the colorful Easter Eggs with candy for children to find in this one-of-a-kind Easter Egg Hunt on Friday, April 19th. Another Easter gift is that all children's admissions are half off the regular admission price for this special event! This year's event features continuous Egg Hunts from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Guests should bring their own baskets. There will be live interactions with bunny rabbits, a petting zoo, the famous Bird, Reptile and Wildlife Wonder Shows and many other fun, family-friendly events. Face painting, pony rides and photos with the Easter Bunny will be available for purchase. As always, guests will be able to enjoy up-close interactions with animals and nature, including hand-feeding free roaming flamingos. For the Jungle Trails and Bunny Tails event, Sarasota Jungle Gardens, 3701 Bay Shore Road, Sarasota, 34234, is open from 10:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M. During this one-day event, admission is free for children three and under; $6.50 for children 4-16; $17.99 for adults and $16.99 for senior adults before taxes. Other offers cannot be combined. This free program is geared toward youth and adults and will educate participants on a wide range of topics. Learn about composting, recycling, red tide, wildlife, plants and more through educational talks and activities. Dates and program topics are: February 9: Composting March 9: Red Tide April 13: Recycling & Composting May 11: Birds of the Park June 8: Native Plants for Birds August 10: Trees of the Park September 14: Aquatic Life at the Park Each program will start at 10:00 am and participants are asked to meet at the Arlington Park & Aquatic Complex Front Office, 2650 Waldemere St. Pre-registration is encouraged.
